Women's History Month Education Forum


In celebration of Women's History Month and International Women's Day 2010
the U.S. Diplomacy Center and the Office of Global Women's Issues
U.S. Department of State
hosted a Public Education Forum featuring inspirational personal stories of newly elected female local government leaders of Iraq. Extraordinary paintings by Iraqi women artists were also featured.
Attendees discussed how Iraqi women contribute their political and artistic skills to the world of diplomacy.
