The National Museum of American Diplomacy is a museum located at the headquarters of the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.   • Program Manager: Event Planner
    Serve as a key team member at the National Museum of American Diplomacy museum at the U.S. Department of State. Help devise a wide variety of events in the Diplomacy Center pavilion, such as panel discussions, luncheons, galas, or receptions for State Department staff, the general public, international diplomatic staff, donors, and others. Intake and vet requests to use the Diplomacy Center space, working with stakeholders to plan their use of the space through phone calls, email, and walk-throughs. Work with Diplomacy Center leadership to plan and manage events. Conduct look-ahead meetings and event logistics meetings for staff. This position is a contract through Kenjya-Trusant Group (KTG).   • Facilities and Visitor Services Specialist
    Serve as a key team member at the National Museum of American Diplomacy museum at the U.S. Department of State. Maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders at the State Department, particularly in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security and Bureau of Administration. Assure that programs in the Diplomacy Center facility run smoothly in terms of room setup and AV. Perform some physical work such as setting up furniture and stages for events. Participate in walk-throughs of the Diplomacy Center facility to help plan furniture and stage configurations and AV needs. Run AV during events such as panel discussions, speeches, and films.   • Public Engagement & Research Associate
    Serve as a key team member at the National Museum of American Diplomacy museum at the U.S. Department of State. Perform original historical research in support of museum exhibits, tours, and programs. Conduct primary source text and image research for exhibits. Assist in the creation of exhibit-based education materials. Design and conduct tours of Diplomacy Center exhibits for multiple audiences. Plan topics for panel discussions and other programs for the general public. Recruit and manage speakers for panels and programs. Assist with training volunteers to conduct exhibit tours.
